By accessing or using the Guidlio web application and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Guidlio is an AI-powered concierge platform for short-term rental properties. The Service enables hosts to create a digital knowledge base for their properties and provide guests with AI chat assistance, local place recommendations, and personalized day planning — accessible via a QR code without guest registration. Guidlio is provided as a web application; no native app download is required.

3. Privacy Policy Reference

By using the Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and process personal data. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms.

4. Host Accounts and Responsibilities

Host accounts are created by Guidlio administrators. To use the Service as a host, you agree to:

• Provide accurate property information and addresses.
• Upload only content you own or have the right to use in the knowledge base.
• Ensure your knowledge base content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Be at least 18 years old to hold an account.

5. Guest Access

Guests access the Service without registration via a QR code provided by a host. Guest sessions are managed by an anonymous identifier stored in the browser's local storage. Guests are responsible for the content of messages submitted to the AI chat features and agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes.

6. AI Information Disclaimer

Guidlio's AI features — including the Property Concierge, Local Guide, and Day Planner — provide information for convenience purposes only. While the concierge draws from host-provided content, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated response. Place details, opening hours, ratings, and availability sourced from Google Places may change at any time. You are solely responsible for verifying information before relying on it.

7. Host-Submitted Content

By submitting content to the knowledge base or property configuration, you grant Guidlio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, embed, and use such content for the purposes of operating and providing the Service — including generating AI responses for guests. You represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this license and that your content does not violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated scrapers or bots to extract data from the Service.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with any part of the Service.
• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or violates third-party rights.
• Misrepresent your identity or property information.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

Guidlio reserves the right to suspend or terminate host accounts, restrict access to the Service, or remove content at any time, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, applicable laws, or misused the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time by contacting us.

10. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Guidlio does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation of the Service and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Guidlio, nor its directors, employees, partners, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of — or inability to access or use — the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable European Union law and, where applicable, the laws of the user's country of residence within the European Union. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights granted under mandatory local law.
